Legacy

Many Ways To Give

Our parish provides a place for us to worship and to be part of its loving communities. We are blessed with perhaps the most beautiful and functional parish buildings in our diocese. Because of this, we are able to provide worship opportunities to our many Spanish and English speaking parishioners and visitors.

Our challenge is to maintain our buildings over the 100 plus years of their life and one method we use is our Legacy program.

Please consider leaving a gift to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in your Will or Revocable Living Trust.

People often think they need a large estate to leave such a gift and while some gifts may be large, they can also be $1,000.00 or less.

Your gift may be in the form of cash, real estate, life insurance, retirement accounts, and many types of investments and can be set up in a variety of ways to meet your specific charitable and financial goals.

Please be sure to consult an attorney when preparing legal documents.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Church is grateful for the generous gifts our parish receives through our parishioner’s estate plans.

Following is a personal statement from Joe Tembrock, our former Parish Council president:

“I am selfish. I am 70+ and I want to worship at Our Lady of Guadalupe and be part of its loving communities for the rest of my life. My wife Judy and I have designated Our Lady of Guadalupe in our will. We also make occasional donations for special programs or projects at Our Lady of Guadalupe. We realize how fragile our parish communities are and how very important it is to support institutions that we believe in.”
