Our Lady of Guadalupe...

"I am the ever-virgin Mary, Mother of the true God who gives life and maintains its existence. He creates all things. He is in all places. He is the God of Heaven and Earth.
I desire a church in this place where your people may experience my compassion.
All those who sincerely ask my help in their work and in their sorrows will know my Mother's Heart in this place. Here I will see their tears; I will console them and they will be at peace. Call me and call my image Santa Maria de Guadalupe."

Peace and Justice Ministry

Members of the OLG Peace and Justice Ministry continue to be involved in a number of justice issues:
affordable housing,
living wage,
reading and literacy projects,
shared housing,
Ethnic studies,
assisting undocumented people
and outreach to the Windsor community…..

This year again we are looking at new ways to bring Catholic Social Teaching to the forefront in our parish.
We’re planning to do our own strategic plan for peace and justice promotion this year.
All are welcome to our monthly evening meetings.

The Peace & Justice Ministry of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church is sponsoring a Health & Wellness Free Family Fair on Sunday October 15, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the Mary Agatha Furth Center.

We will provide health screenings for:
blood pressure checks,
flu shots and other activities.

Come and familiarize yourself with ways to improve your health. Also, there will be activities for the children.
Please see the posters in the lobby with contact names and a sign-up sheet.
