Our Lady of Guadalupe...

"I am the ever-virgin Mary, Mother of the true God who gives life and maintains its existence. He creates all things. He is in all places. He is the God of Heaven and Earth.
I desire a church in this place where your people may experience my compassion.
All those who sincerely ask my help in their work and in their sorrows will know my Mother's Heart in this place. Here I will see their tears; I will console them and they will be at peace. Call me and call my image Santa Maria de Guadalupe."

Adult Education

Since the Pastoral Strategic Plan was set in place, our first goal has been to provide faith formation and spiritual growth programs for all ages and stages of life to further educate parishioners in their Catholic Faith. Each year we have expanded our offerings so there are more and varied opportunities for small group faith sharing and development. One parishioner shared, “The more I experience and understand my faith, the happier and more grateful I am…and kids catch the spirit if we are happy!” Another said, “Even if our language is limited “our words have power” and, in sharing our stories and the love of Christ with each other, there are many “benedictions – little blessings”.

We pass on from generation to generation what we learn. Adult education gatherings invite us to understand more deeply the truths we may already know; to deepen our community experience; to “come and see” how we can love and support one another through the joys and challenges of our lives; to share our stories and help each other awaken to the connection of our stories and God’s story; to be enriched and empowered to be all that we are in Christ and to let our ministry flow out of that place.
